Nagpur: After a report published by Nagpur Today, the illegal encroachment on land allocated for National Highway by Basera Land Developers in Chakki Khapa, being covertly defended by the officers of National Highways Authority of India has been demolished.
As claimed by the villagers, the Bhonsala Military School has also been deliberately creating hurdles in smooth construction of Outer Ring Road project around their village and trying to capture the land allocated for road construction.
As soon as the report was published, based on the information and proofs provided by whistle blower Vivek Sesodia, the officers of the authority reacted upon the case. The appointed officers were trying to defend the encroachment and change the alignments of the road to be constructed.
The land was also encroached by Basera Land Developers and a construction was also done on the land by investing lakhs of rupees which has been demolished. If the markings are done according to the official layout, the school management is expected to lose half of its playground land which, it was claiming to be its property till now.
