IGNOU Entrance examination for Management Programme/BSC(N)/B.ED./M.ED

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is conducting Entrance Tests for admission to Management Programmes (OPENMAT-XXXVI), B.Sc.N(PB), B.Ed. and M.Ed. programmes for the session starting from January, 2015 on Sunday August 17 , 2014.

The schedule of the entrance test is as under:

  •  OPENMAT-XXXVI – (10:00 AM to 1:00 PM)
  •  B.Sc.Nursing (Post Basic) – (10:00 AM to 12:30 PM)
  • B.Ed. and M.Ed. – (2:00 PM to 4:00 PM)

The Tests are being organized in 267 Examination Centres across the country accommodating 1,03,425 candidates. Under Nagpur Region, 9,358 candidates are appearing for BEd and 187 for OPENMAT are appearing at various exam centres. The exam centres under Nagpur Regional Centre jurisdiction for OPENMAT-XXXVI & B.Sc.Nursing (Post Basic) are in Nagpur and Amravati. For B.Ed./ M.Ed the centres are in Nagpur, Amravati, Nanded, Chandrapur, Gadchiroli, Yavatmal, Hingoli, Buldhana, Akola and Gondia.

Regional Director of IGNOU Dr. Sivasroopam informed that the Hall-Tickets for Bed / MEd have already been dispatched to the candidates by IGNOU Regional Centre, Nagpur. Printed hall tickets of Management Programmes, the University has not sent by post, such candidates can download their Hall Tickets from IGNOU website www.ignou.ac.in. In case of non-receipt of Hall-Ticket by any candidate, the Hall-Ticket can be downloaded from the University Website by entering Name and Date of Birth of the candidate and report to the Examination Centre.
In case candidates are unable to download the Hall-Ticket, they can contact the Regional Centre and obtain the information of Examination Centre allocated and report to the Examination Centre with a proof of submission of Entrance Test application form along with recent passport size photograph. In such case they have to submit an undertaking at the Examination Centre stating that in the event of information furnished by them found to be incorrect, their candidature will be cancelled.

Reporting Time:
Candidates must report at the Examination Centre 45 minutes before commencement of the Entrance Test.
University has deputed Central Observers in all the 267 examination centres to ensure smooth conduct of the entrance test.
