ICSE Class X Results : Nagpur toppers share their success mantra

ICSE 10th Result 2018 Kshipra Motikar tops in Vidarbha

Nagpur: Kshipra Motikar, a student of ICSE affiliated Chanda Devi Saraf school in Nagpur topped the class X exams in city. Kshipra scored 98% to top the charts among the students of all four schools which saw results of ICSE class X on Monday. The results were announced on Monday by the Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) on its official website cisce.org at 3 pm. The Indian Certificate of Secondary Education ICSE Examination for the year 2018 was conducted from February 26- March 2.

In Nagpur there are four schools in which students have enrolled in Std X for ICSE.

Kshipra Motikar ranked at city’s top spot with 98%. Talking to Nagpur Today, Kshipra said, “I didn’t expect to get 98% as I was hoping of 95% and above. I am very happy with my marks as this will help me in future as I want to become a software engineer. Next I am planning to prepare for JEE Mains, I will try my best to get admission in IIT colleges”.

Kshipra attributed her success to self study and remaining consistent in studies. “This strategy helped me secure the rank. Besides being a Maths teacher, my mother also helped me in resolving my difficulties,” she added.

Seventh Day Adventist Higher Secondary School student Himanshu Salve also topped in his school with 91.6%. Talking to NT, Himanshu says, “I was not aware that I am the topper of my school. I am really happy as my hard work paid off”. He added, “All the efforts that my teachers made finally reaped the fruits and that only helped me in securing first rank in my school.” Sumedh Ramteke secured second rank with 89% and Ayush Ghore secured third rank with 88.4%.

Similarly, students of Marie Poussepin’s Academy also excelled in the exam as Mahi Harishkumar Yadav is the school topper with 94.14%. She is also the council topper in two subjects. She scored 100 marks in computer application and 99 marks in Hindi.

Lavanya Rajendra Tembhurne has secured 92.57% and stands second in the school along with Harsh Wasnik who secured third rank with 91.57%.

Congratulating the students, Deepa Moonjely Principal at Marie Poussepin’s Academy says, “The success of students is a reflection of the hard work and dedication of the students and their teachers. I congratulate all the students and their parents for their marvellous achievement on behalf of all the staff and management.”

Husain Saifuddin Zariwala of MSB Educational Institute topped in his school with 93%. For the second position there was a tie between two students Sakina Kausarali Jamali and Badrul Jamali Huzefa Ali who secured 92% marks.

Sakina Kausarali Jamali who secured second position, says “I used to study in school while tuition hours mock tests and home works helped a lot in scoring good marks,” Commenting on his future move he says, “I will opt for science as it has a vast scope to build a bright career”.
