Homeless families at Bhilgaon to plots for construction of residences

Nagpur: In good news to hundreds of homeless families in Mauza Bhilgaon of Kamptee Taluka, allotment of a 10,600 sq mtr land has been approved for providing them residential plots of land under Gaothan Development Scheme. The allotment of the land was approval by a Cabinet Sub-Committee.

The meeting of the Cabinet Sub- Committee was held at the chamber of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis in this connection. It was attended among others by Nagpur Guardian Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule, Principal Secretary of Urban Development Department Nitin Karir and others.

The land allotment was made possible with the initiative of Chief Minister Fadnavis and efforts of Bawankule. A Land Development Scheme was sanctioned at Mauza Bhilgaon’s survey number 146, 146/3, 146/5, 141/1 on the additional declared land admeasuring 68,000 sq mtr. Out of the land, 10,600 sq mtr of land was received by State Government free of cost. The 7/12 of the alnd is in the name of Government and there is no encroachment at all.

This 10,600 sq mtr of land will now be made available to homeless families for residential purpose under Gaothan Vikas Yojana. Bawankule was pursuing the matter since the year 2015 and with his efforts and the positive initiative of Chief Minister Fadnavis, the poor homeless families will get plot of land for construction of residences.
