Himani wins Silver at State Senior Swimming Selection

Nagpur: Himani Phadke, national level swimmer from Nagpur, won one Silver and one Bronze medal in the 72nd Maharashtra State Senior Selection Competition 2018, organized by Swimming Federation of India on 8 and 9 September in Mumbai.

Himani won Silver medal by completing 200 meter free-style competition in senior group in 2 minute 24 second. Similarly, she won Bronze medal by completing 400 meter individual middle in 5 minute 32 second. Himani became first swimmer from Vidarbha to achieve success in State Senior category.

Himani is being trained since last 12 years by national trainer Sanjay Batwe at Shark Aquatic Sporting Club in Nagpur.
