High profile sex racket busted in Jaitala

Nagpur: In a significant move the Social Security Cell of the Nagpur Police Crime Branch busted a high profile sex racket which was running in a flat in Jaitala area on July 11, 2015.

According to police sources, the police personnel of Social Security Cell received a secret tip off that a high profile sex racket was going on in Flat No 407, Fourth Floor, Wing-A of Shivpriya Towers, Jaitala falling in the jurisdiction of MIDC Police Station.

The accused identified as Chandraprakash and Sarika used to bring call girls from Delhi and used to provide their flat for amorous activities.

When the police personnel of Social Security Cell received a secret tip off, they informed their senior officials which include Additional Commissioner of Police Shrikant Tarwade, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime) Deepali Masirkar and Assistant Commissioner of Police Nilesh Raut. Based on their directions, under the guidance of In-charge of Social Security Cell B M Powar, Woman Police Inspector Amita Jaipurkar, Police Head Constables Pandurang Nikure, Ajay Ghatod, Sanjay Pande, Gopal Vaidhya, Manoj Singh Chauhan, Woman Police Constable Asmita Meshram, Anita Dhurve, Driver Abhijeet and Photographer Wharadpande raided the premises and rescued one victim call girl from the premises.

The other accused customers and the accused woman include

  1. 1.    Chandraprakash Vinayak Warvatkar aged 47 years and a resident of Plot No 123, Ladikar Layout, Manewada Road, Hudkeshwar.
  2. 2.    Amol Manoranjan Patil aged 25 years and a resident of Adiwasi Nagar, Near Sant Sawta High School.
  3. Sarika Mahesh Pande aged 30 years and a resident of Flat No 407, Fourth Floor, Wing-A of Shivpriya Towers, Near Jaitala Last Bus Stop falling in the jurisdiction of MIDC Police Station.

 

On interrogation it also came to fore that the accused duo used to claim that they are police officials and had duped many people from various places in Nagpur city by displaying a fake Police Identity Card and misused the Official Police Rubber Stamp and have fleeced large sums of money from them.

In addition, in their new venture the accused duo used to lure divorced young girls from Delhi with big amounts and calling them to Nagpur for amorous and lustful activities. The accused used to provide the local lecherous customers their rented flat for the amorous activities.

The MIDC Police has registered a case under Sections 420, 370, 170, 34 of Indian Penal Code and under sections 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 of Immoral Traffic Prevention Act, 1986 against all the three accused and are investigating further.
