Here’s the inclusion everyone has been waiting for IIFA Awards 2015

Right from breathtaking performances to handing over the awards for great achievements of the year, made the event worthwhile.

IIFA 2015 was all set to bewitch their fans again after 16 years in Malaysia. The award winning ceremony was held in the city of Kuala Lumpur in June. ‘In IIFA 2002, we had great time and enjoyed the core’, said many senior actors.

The aspect of the ceremony that kept everyone tickled were the young actors and notorious hosts Arjun Kapoor and  Ranveer Singh, who are well known by now for their chemistry and ‘bromance’. The blockbuster movie “ Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge” was greeted with an Ode for completing their 1000 weeks in the famous theater Maratha-Mandir.

Of course, one of the most stunning actresses known in the film industry, Deepika Padukone was rewarded as the ‘Woman of the Year’. Ranveer went on his knee to present the award to the beautiful actress.

Kangana Ranaut’s eye catching performance in the blockbuster movie ‘Queen’ made her win three awards, where on the other hand, the role in the film Haider, a story based on Shakspeare’s book Hemlet, performed by Shahid Kapoor and his beautiful co-actor Shraddha Kapoor made them win three awards. Kangana and Shahid where honoured with best best actors’ award. The award for Best Picture and Best Movie went to Vikas Bahl, Chaitally Parmar, Parvez Shaikh for Queen. Whereas Tabu received an award for best performance in Supporting Role and Kay Kay Menon was honoured with award for his Best performance in Negative role in Haider.

Award for best direction went to Rajkumar Hirani for PK.  The award for best debut female was given to Kirti Sanon for her outstanding performance in Heropanti, whereas her co-actor in the movie- Tiger Shroff received the award for Best Debut Male. Best Debut direction went to Omung Kumar for Mary Kom.

In the musical field, Award for Best Music Direction was presented to Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy for 2 states- one the most memorable movie of  the year 2014. Ankit Tiwari received award for Best Playback Singer Male for the song ‘galliyan’ from movie Ek Villain. On the other hand the award for Best Playback Singer Female went to Kanika Kapoor for ‘Baby doll’ from movie Ragini MMS 2.

Award for outstanding contribution went to Subhash Ghai. Marathi movie Lai Bhari was honoured with award for Best Regional Movie.
