Nagpur News Today : Hemant Pawar, 49, has aaumed charge as the new Additional Municipal Commissioner on Tuesday Morning. Demonstrating that he means business, pawar on the very first day released order of appointments in various recruitment processes. Pawar while talking to the media said that he would try his best to give justice to each and every person in the NMC. He has been given charge of the Education and Health department.
Pawar has done his MBA from Pune and cleared state civil services conducted by MPSC. He joined as Deputy Collector in 1987. He already has an illustrious career spanning 25 years in Revenu Services. He had served as SDO Bhandara, Chandrapur, Rajura and Bhramhapuri. He has been promoted as Additional Collector in 2002. He has also served as Deputy Commissioner of Food and Civil Supplies in Amravati, Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Amravati and Additional Collector Amravati. Till joining Nagpur as the Addl. Commissioner, he was working as Deputy Commissioner (Entertainment Duty) at Nashik.
