: In another major set-back to the Wasankars, the Nagpur Bench of Bombay High Court rejected the bail application of Prashant Wasankar on September 19, 2016.

While speaking to Nagpur Today Additional Government Pleader Sagar Ashirgade who appeared for the prosecution said that the principal accused in the Wasankar Ponzi schemes Prashant Wasankar was denied bail by the Nagpur Bench of Bombay High Court.

However, he has been given the liberty to approach the lower courts with a submission of the ways and means by which he would be depositing the embezzled money and then apply for temporary bail.

Earlier the MPID Court too had rejected the bail application of Prashant Wasankar, accused of running various Ponzi schemes under umbrella of ‘Wasankar Wealth Management Limited’ to allegedly dupe thousands of depositors on July 14, 2016. The MPID Court had rejected his bail plea for four times.
