verdictverdictNagpur News: The Nagpur bench of  Bombay High Court on Wednesdayimposed fine on the officials of Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur  university (RTMNU) for their careless attitude. The Court imposed fine of Rs 101 on  acting Vice Chancellor (RTMNU), Registrar (RTMNU) and other concerned university officials. The Court was hearing the petition filed by Sunil Mishra relating to ban  on 250 colleges.

The RTMNU and academic Council was supposed to be apprised and give proper details of the banned colleges to the Court. The details sought were of how many colleges have appointed approved teachers and other expected procedures. But the administration filed wrong information in the court.

The Court came down heavily on the administration for not providing correct and detailed information. The High Court expressed displeasure in strong words over  the administration and Academic Council’s attitude for filing wrong affidavit.
