What if someone puts in front of you a plate of Navratri Upas food that contains: hot and delicious poories/ parathas, two sabzis, a banana kofta curry, sabudana wadas, sabudana khichdi, chutneys, sweet dahi, Bengali sweet etc. Etc.??
Then there are snack items like potato pakoda, paneer pakoda, paneer tikka accompanied by lovely chutneys too.
The Chef, and Mr. Naresh Duggal, G.M. of Haldirams have spent a lot of time and energy in researching foods allowed during fasting and made up recipes which will be delicious and unique too. So one of the green chutneys is made of banana, green chillies and coconut; the kofta is made of boiled bananas, in a gravy of cashew nuts.
The poories are made of Rajgira/ Singhada atta and the aloo paratha of boiled and mashed potatoes, Rajgira atta, Kuttu, green chillies, pudina etc. And is simply irrestible.
Rates of all these items are tempting too. The thali costs Rs. 260/ The aloo parathas Rs.80/ per plate, Paneer tikka – again made with a difference with a coating of curds and kaju, Rs. 240/ a plate, aloo pakoda Rs. 60/ and sabudana wada/ khichdi for Rs. 70.
All this fare will be available at Hot Spot and all Haldiram Planet Food joints till April 5th.
