Nagpur: Green Heaven Kids, Dindayal Nagar, organized the annual concert “Dharohar” recently. The theme of the concert “Dharohar” made the students aware about rich Indian culture, significance of celebrations and festivals. Anand Nirban Deputy Editor of Dainik Bhaskar inaugurated the event. In his speech, Nirban lauded the teachers for their efforts to keep the Indian culture alive. “It is very important to strengthen the cultural thread, otherwise there will be no spiritual process on the planet,” stressed Nirban .
The programme started with the inspiring invocation, presented by KG I, II girls. Students, in their colouful attires, presented various folk dances such as ‘Bhangda’, ‘Lavni’, Goan dance, Rajasthani dance among other items. The tiny tots made the audience spellbound with their wonderful performance. President Kavita Sharma, Vice President Umesh Sharma and Secretary Anil Sharma of Green Heaven Group graced the function by their presence.
Principal Aboli Bidkar appreciated the students and staff members for their efforts to make the event successful. Nidhi Sharma anchored the event while vote of thanks was proposed by Sridevi Raghukumar.
