Gramayan Pratishtan exhibition held at NVCC

Nagpur: With the aim of encouraging the local skill and Vidarbha products, the Nagp Vidarbha Chamber of Commerce (NVCC) organised an exhibition of products made by rural artisans. The exhibition was organised in association of Gramayan Pratishtan and Mahila Kala Niketan, Giripeth.

Gramayan Pratishthan is a social platform for interaction between individuals and organizations who have interest in uplift of rural economy through exchange of thoughts & technology in Vidarbha for betterment.

Pratishthan’s Anil Sangre and Mahila Kala Niketan Primcipal Megha Nadekar were prominently present at the exhibition. Both the dignitaries were felicitated at the hands of NVCC President Ashwin Mehadia.

Speaking on the occasion, Mehadia said that the exhibition was organised under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “Swadeshi Samaan, Mera Abhiman’ campaign and to provide a platform for encouraging local skill and women entrepreneurs.

The Past President of NVCC B C Bharatiya said that the trade skill work being done by Mahila Kala Niketan is commendable in view of present corona situation. Bharatiya also thanked Gramayan Pratishthan for organising the exhibition at NVCC.

Other office-bearers present on the occasion include Vice President Arjundas Ahuja, Farookhbhai Akbani, Secretary Ram AvtarTotla, Treasurer Sachin Puniyani, Joint Secretary, Shabbar Shakir, Swapnil Ahirkar, members Prabhakar Deshmukh, Santosh Kabra, Maheshkumar Kukreja, Dnyaneshwar Rakshak, Rajwantpal Singh Tuli, Ram Khbchandani, Satish Bang and local artisans.
