The campaign for registration of voters for the graduates constituency for 2014 for Nagpur division started on October 1, 2013 and continued till October 30, 2013.

But due to the irresponsibility of appointed officials and some directed officials not being present at their offices, rejecting form 18 quoting various flimsy reasons, demanding unnecessary papers and documents, asking those people who have migrated from villages to deposit the forms in their own villages only and due to various other reasons, the desired number of forms were not accepted.

Citing the above reasons, for less forms collection, the activists of Shahu Phule Ambedkar Graduate Organisation complained to the Election Commision, New Delhi, Chief Election Officer Mumbai and Divisional Commissioner and requested them to extend the dates for submission of Graduate Constituency forms to one month.

Based on the above request, the Indian Election Commission has extended the dates of submission of Nagpur Division Graduate Constituency forms to one month i.e November 15, 2013.

Shahu Fule Ambedkar Graduate Organisation claimed that for the past 6 years, that 50 per cent of the graduates are of this caste and till date around 2000 entries have been registered.

This was informed by President of Shahu Phule Ambedkar Graduate Organisation Kishore Gajbiye in a press conference held at Patrakar Bhavan on October 31, 2013. They also appealed to all the graduates to fill and submit the form 18 at the earliest.

Also present during the occasion were Executive President of Shahu Fule Ambedkar Graduate Organisation Shashikant Wakode and General Secretary of Shahu Fule Ambedkar Graduate Organisation Sanjay Kambade.
