‘Govt to put efforts for tourism development in state’–Chief Minister

Mumbai/ Nagpur: There being a congenial atmosphere for investments in the state, and Mumbai, Aurangabad and Nagpur being most favoured cities of the country, the state government is putting all efforts in development of investments and tourism in the state. In addition, the international air service like Etihad Airlines Mumbai can also be used for attracting the tourists from Europe, America and other countries, said Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
He said this while interacting with a delegation which met him at Mumbai. The delegation was led by Etihad Airlines chairman James Hogan.

He was hopeful of tourism and investment development in the state through Etihad Airlines international air service.
James Hogan said, Etihad Airlines has a major role to play in tourism development, and it is going to contribute to 5,000 ton cargo per week in terms of business development.

Present during the meeting were chief secretary, Tourism, Valsa Nair, Chief Minister’s secretary Milind Mhaiskar, Etihad Airlines vice chairman Vijay Punusami, senior manager Moksha Wats, manager Neerja Bhatia and others, informed an official press release.
