Gopinath Munde’s mortal remains to be brought to Nagpur on Sunday

The mortal remains of deceased BJP leader and Union Rural Development Minister Gopinath Munde who died in a car accident in New Delhi recently, will be brought here on Sunday June 15. Sources said Munde’s ‘asthikalash’ (mortal remains) would be brought here from Vidarbha Express which would reach Ajni railway station at 8 am on Sunday. BJP city vice-president Subhash Kotecha and Vijay Agrawal will be bringing the remains here from Mumbai.

BJP State President Devendra Fadnavis, state spokesperson Girish Vyas, Mayor Anil Sole, City President Krishna Khopde, MLA Vikas Kumbhare, West Vidarbha Organisation Secretary Dr. Upendra Kothekar, Organisation Secretary Shrikant Deshpande, Chetna Tank and many other BJP leaders will be prominently present at Ajni Railway station to receive the mortal remains of Munde.

Party’s publicity incharge Chandan Goswami informed that the asthikalash would be taken to the party’s election office at Ganeshpeth where it will be kept for paying regards. The remains would then be handed over to BJP President (Nagpur rural) Dr. Rajiv Potdar and later on Monday it would be immersed in Kanhan river.

General secretary Rajesh Bagdi, Sandeep Joshi, Sudhakar Kohle, Pramod Pendke have appealed all the party workers to present at Ajni railway station.
