Nagpur: Adding up to the increasing criminal extremism by the goons in the city, two goons opened fire at a man in a broad day light near IT Park on Thursday. The survivor identified as Nitin Santosh Tripathi (41) resident of Flat. No. 40, A3, Horest Colony, sustained severe injuries.
Accompanied with students from a private tuition class the complainant was standing in front of Persistence classes near IT Park at around 5.30pm.
All of a sudden two youth aged between 22 and 23 approached the victim on their Yamaha FZ bike and starts accosting him. However when the survivor resisted them, they took out a gun charged towards him. After firing the gun shots they zoomed out form the sight.
Followed by the complaint of the victim, Pratap Nagar police has registered a case under section 307,34 of IPC against the unidentified accused. Further details are awaited.
