Nagpur: An innocent youth turned victim to the whims of goons in Wadi where atleast four anti-social elements brutally attacked him in an attempt to kill him.
With injuries on his head and shoulders, Prathamesh alias Datta Sanjay Gorle (20), a resident of Plot No. 207, Gopal Vihar, Indira Nagar, Khadgaon Road, was rushed to a hospital. Prathamesh was going with his friend on a two-wheeler around 4 pm. Near Komesh Mobile Shoppe, Indira Nagar on Khadgaon Road, Kalyan Mishra (24), Pradeep Tasre (23), both residents of Hariom Society;
Mayur Uike (25), a resident of Tekdi Wadi; and Som Verma (27) a resident of Shahu Nagar, accosted them. They picked up a quarrel with Prathamesh.
After heated exchanges, they attacked Prathamesh with sharp-edged weapons injuring him seriously. After recording Prathamesh’s statement,Wadi Police registered an offence under Sections 307 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code against Kalyan Mishra, Pradeep Tasre, Mayur Uike and Som Verma.
