Good News, Maggi alright in Nagpur, says FDA

Nagpur: Even as many state governments find Maggi to be unsafe for consumption, Nagpur’s food and drugs administration (FDA) has found no ingredients above harmful levels in the Maggi noodle samples taken by them in the city.

“We have tested samples collected from the Nagpur warehouse of Nestle factory located in Amravati Road”, said deputy commissioner FDA , Nagpur, M C Pawar while speaking exclusively to Nagpur Today .  All were found to be of standard quality, Pawar added.

Pawar said that tests for monosodium glutamate and lead turned out negative.

It may be noted that maggi available in Nagpur and Maharashtra market are manufactured at Goa plant of the Nestle and Goa government has also given clean cheat to maggi samples.
