Nagpur: In an unfortunate incident, the gold ornaments of sister who had come to attend the brother’s engagement ceremony got stolen. The ornaments are said to cost Rs 1,43,500/- (Rupees One lakh forty three thousand five hundred). According to police sources, the victim Salma Aslam Sheikh aged 30 years and a resident of near Ambedkar garden, Narkhed had come to her brother’s house for his engagement ceremony at new Bagadganj, Nagpur. During the engagement ceremony, someone stole all the gold and silver ornaments kept in her bag.
As soon as she realized that her ornaments have been stolen, she lodged a complaint with Lakhadganj Police Station. On the basis of her complaint, the Lakhadganj Police has registered a case under relevant sections of Indian Penal Code and are investigating further.
