Nagpur: After 180 examinations were not forwarded by the Dean, that many students of Government Ayurvedic College might be unable to appear for the exams. Opposing the same, they conducted a huge protest on Friday. The protest was conducted by hundreds of students and police even used force on them which resulted injury of a few students.

As is being claimed by the students the exam forms were filled by the dean last year even after the students had low attendance. However, the same has not been done this year.

“It is compulsory for the students to have 75 and 80 percent attendance in theory and practical respectively. It is directed by the University and thus, the students who had low attendance, there forms are not filled”, said Dr. Ganesh Mukawar, Dean, Government Ayurvedic College.

The same can lead to waste of an entire year of the students. Several students protested against the same.
