Fuel tank overturns near Jamtha, Nagpur (2)

: A fully filled fuel tank overturned at a super busy Wardha road near Jamtha international stadium on Tuesday and caught fire later. Sources revealed that a person died in the fire while two others were grievously injured.

The tanker was carrying 10,000 litres of petrol and equal amount of diesel. The vehicle bearing the registration number Mh31 DS 0076 was owned by BPCL. The spillage caused fire due to extreme heat. The tanker was on its way to Nagpur from Borkhedi. Rescue operation took hours to control the flames.

Both the injured have been admitted to the hospital.
