A famous Punjabi chicken curry with rich flavors and ingredients good to be made in parties and special occasion.
1 Cinnamon stick
2 Bay leaf
6 Onion [boil and make paste]
3-4 tbsp Ginger-garlic paste
1 tbsp Red chilly powder
2 tbsp Red chilly paste [Deseed whole red chillies, [boil it and make paste]
1 tbsp Coriander powder
2 tsp Haldi
1 tbsp cumin powder
Salt to taste
200 gmsKaju [boil and make paste]
200 gms Cream
1 whole Chicken
100 gms Butter
Oil as required
2 tsp Chat masala
200 gms Curd
Black pepper to taste
Black salt to taste
2 tsp Garam masala powder
1 tsp Cardamom powder
1 tsp Mace powder
Ghee as required
Wash and clean the chicken.
Marinate chicken with ginger-garlic paste, oil red chilly paste, cumin powder, coriander powder, salt, chat masala, and mix well curd, cream, black pepper and black salt and salt. Marinade for few hrs.
Heat the tandoor put chicken in the skewers and grill it. [if u dont have tandoor u can use microwave at grill mode or OTG oven if not use little oil in a pan put the chicken cover it cook untill well done cook it on the medium heat]
Take a sauce pan heat ghee add bay leaf, cardamom, clove, cinnamon saute over medium heat add boiled onion paste saute till golden, add ginger garlic paste and saute.
Add red chili powder coriander powder, haldi, salt and saute for 2 mins.
Add chopped tomatoes and cook properly. When oil starts to separate add water n let it cook until u see the oil again to the surface.
Add kaju paste and cream and boil till proper consistency of the gravy.
Add garam masala powder, cardamom powder and mace powder and mix well.
Add the chicken to the gravy and put it in the serving dish.
Garnish with the Butter and Cream.
Serve Hot and Enjoy.
