Nagpur: Four minor girls went missing from different areas and could have been kidnapped. Cops have mounted a search to trace the girls.
A 15-year old girl, staying in Koradi police jurisdiction left home around 6 pm on 23.2.18 saying she is going for catering job. She has not returned till to date since then and went missing. A search by her relatives proved futile.
Koradi police constable Dinesh, acting on the complaint in this regard, has registered a case under Section 363 of the IPC as per the Supreme Court order that if any minor girl or boy goes missing then the case be treated as that of kidnapping.
In another incident in Koradi jurisdiction, a 17-year old girl went missing after leaving her home between 11.45 pm of Wednesday and 6 am of Thursday without informing her elder sister. Koradi police constable Dinesh has registered an offence under Section 363 of the IPC as per Supreme Court directives.
A Jaripatka based 17 year old girl also went missing. The teenager left home around 3 pm on Friday without informing any family member. Parents of the girl searched her at all possible places but in vein. Finally, a complaint was lodged with Jaripatka police.
PSI S S Temgire has registered a case under Section 363 of the IPC.
A 12-year old girl, resident of Sakkardara, left her home around 10 pm on Friday and since then went missing. Her relatives searched her frantically at many places but could not find her.
Sakkardara Woman PSI Bhosle, based on a complaint, registered a case under Section 363 of the IPC in accordance with Supreme Court order.
Cops of Koradi, Jaripatka and Sakkardara have launched searches to trace the four missing minor girls.
