Four including notorious Goldie released on conditional bail by MCOCA court

Nagpur: All the four accused in the sensational firing incident at Jaripatka were released on conditional bail by a special judge V T Suryawanshi of Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) on Friday.

The names of those accused released on bail include the notorious Hardipsingh alias Goldie Kulwantsingh Bhullar, Nirmalsingh alias Bablu Satnamsingh Atwal, Jograj Singh alias Kake Kashmirsingh Dhillon and Jujjarsingh alias Jahri Kashmirsingh Dhillon.

All the four were released after paying a surety of 25,000. The order goes on to state that the accused are hereby warned not to indulge in any such anti-social or criminal activities neither they should try to put pressure on the witneses in the case.
All the four accused were charged with sections 147, 148, 149, and 307 of the Indian Penal Code, section 3/25 of the Arms Act and sections 3 nd 4 of the Maharashtra Control of Ortganised Crime Act (MCOCA).

It may be noted that the accused were involved in broad daylight firing incident and had opened fire on Little Sardar and his accomplices in Jaripatka area. One of the bullets had hit the driver of Little Sardar. The accused are also alleged to have been involved in cases of forcefully acquiring property, attempts to murder, and threatening with dire consequences. Noted lawyer Adv. Prakash Jaiswal appeared for the accused while the government pleader Adv. Jyoti Vajani held the brief for the state.
