Forcing not to take Wife complaint, Husband with relative manhandle Asst P I in Police station, arrested

Nagpur: An Assistant Police Inspector (API) was on Sunday abused and manhandled by a woman’s husband and other relative when she had gone to Police Station to lodge a complaint. Both the accused have been arrested.

The Assistant Police Inspector Shashikant Shriram Patil (36) was on duty in Tehsil Police Station on Sunday. Around 3 pm, the woman, identified as Asha Larokar, came to Police Station for lodging a complaint against her husband. While Asha was filing her complaint, the two accused Jagdeesh Baban Larokar (31) and Vishal Baban Larokar (35), both residents of Jagnath Budhwari, burst into the Police Station and shouted at the API Patil.

The accused duo told API Patil not to entertain Asha’s complaint as the matter was domestic one. With these words, the accused Jagdeesh Larokar pulled Asha and tried to forcibly took her away from the Police Station. When API Patil tried to pacify both the accused they started abusing him in filthy language and manhandled him as well in the Police Station itself. With this ruckus, the accused duo also put hurdles in the official duty of the API.

Tehsil Senior PSI Wadskar, acting on the complaint of API Patil, booked the two accused Jagdeesh Baban Larokar and Vishal Baban Larokar under Sections 353, 294, 332, 34 of IPC and placed them under arrest.
