Nagpur News: The Acting Vice Chancellor Anoop Kumar, while enlightening the heads of departments and officials of Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur university (RTMNU) on their rights, said that they play a very vital role in the development of the university. Anoop Kumar was speaking in a meeting held on Tuesday, August 26.

The Acting VC exhorted them to put in their best efforts in preparation for the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) visit next month. He asked the officials to use technology aptly and also improve the quality of work in the university.

He emphasized on beautification of the campus and its gardens and added that help could be taken from women’s self help group for the maintenance of the gardens in the campus. Earlier also, during the tenure of former Vice Chancellor S N Pathan steps were initiated for beautification of the gardens. “RTMNU has never received ‘A’ Grade certificate during NAAC’s last visits to the university and had to be satisfied with ‘B’ Grade,” lamented Anoop Kumar.

“RTMNU has no shortage of funds but still it is lacking the facilities. The lack of facility is not because of shortage of funds but because of lack of will power. If the administrative officers and academics put their best steps forward and show their will power, it will not be impossible for RTMNU to get the ‘A’ Grade certificate this time,” said a confident Anoop Kumar.
