Five members of family, two others grab man’s property by preparing bogus documents

Five members of a family and two others not only grabbed property of a man by preparing bogus documents but also demanded extortion money and doled out life threats. No arrests have been made in this connection.

The victim, Rajubhai Younisbhai Chhagla (45), native of Devika Apartment, Shivaji Market, Pune, had come to Nagpur and went to inspect his property in Jaripatka around 3.30 pm on April 24. When Rajubhai was at his property he found that the property was sold to two accused Narendra Singh Nanaksingh Digla (Baxi), resident of Vaishali Nagar and Khidrasingh Rajendrasingh Anand of Bouddha Nagar. His property was sold to the two accused by five other accused with the help of bogus documents. The five accused Chandrashekhar Shrinivas Bhumralkar (60), Sanjiv Shrinivas Bhumralkar, Girish Shrinivas Bhumralkar, Shailesh Shrinivas Bhumralkar and Raju Shrinivas Bhumralkar, all residents of Nelson Square, Chhindwara Road, Nagpur. The five accused family members prepared fake documents of Rajubhai’s property and sold to two accused Narendra Singh Nanaksingh Digla (Baxi) and Khidrasingh Rajendrasingh Anand in connivance with each other. Moreover, when Rajubhai was inspecting his property, two unidentified persons approached him and demanded extortion money for his property and life.

Sadar PSI Pendkar, acting on a complaint of Rajubhai, has registered an offence against all the seven accused under Sections 420, 468, 471, 386, 34 of IPC and probing the matter further.
