Nagpur: In a well-timed operation, Fire Brigade personnel acted swiftly and pulled out a youth, who had fallen in a public well, alive. The incident was reported from Laxmi Nagar area on Sunday.
The youth has been identified as Manoj Manetkar, resident of Dantwshwari Nagar Slums. Pratap Nagar police and Fire Brigade personnel were informed by the residents of the area that a youth had got tripped into a public well in Laxmi Nagar area and he was struggling. Both police and fire service men reached the spot immediately. But it was Fire Brigade that pulled Manoj out of the well in the nick of time and saved his life. However, it could not be ascertained how and when Manoj went down in the public well. Cops are investigating the incident from all angles.
