Final phase voting ends with 59.46% in Bihar

Patna/ Nagpur: The fifth and final phase of voting on Thursday, Nov 5 in Bihar is reported to be 59.46% by 5 pm.
While the voting was done simultaneously in all 57 segments quite peacefully, a  polling officer died due to heart attack during poll in Darbhanga district, informed media reports.

The polling officer who died  is Bindeswar Shah, an employee of Darbhanga Medical College and Hospital. He suffered a heart attack when the polling was on. He died at the hospital later, official sources said.

However, as to who will form the government in Bihar, or whether the state will have a hung Assembly, will be known only on Sunday (November 8) when the votes will be counted.

In the 243-member Bihar Legislative Assembly, as per exit poll analysis, neck and neck fight is predicted between BJP and Grand Alliance.
