Nagpur: Paying heed to Nagpurtoday’s repeatedly made attempts to voice the various irregularities committed in major provision-stores in the city, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) of Maharashtra Government launched massive raids on as many as 18 provision-stores in the city during more than a fortnight-long period, ranging form 01.06.2015 to19.06.2015, and seized about 41617 killograms of provisions worth Rs 40,20,842.
The seizure includes several banned items, leaving aside the food-grains, informed a press-note issued by S S Desai, Joint Commissioner, FDA, Nagpur. He has made an appeal to the young generation to shun the use of officially banned items to make the government-launched ban successful.
