Fadnavis will perform well in centre but state needs him more, says Gadkari

Amidst the ongoing political rumblings, Nagpur remains the cynosure in them all. The tittle-tattles have linked Nagpur with the nationally impactful probability of events.

As state the speculations, chances are Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will be called to centre after appointment of Venkaiah Naidu as the Vice President. On the other hand, Nitin Gadkari may be handed over the charges of Railway Ministry after Suresh Prabhu’s proposal to resign from his post. Nitin Gadkari answered the top two political questions in Nagpur.

Gadkari, on his visit to the city, organised a Press Conference where he spoke to several media persons. He stated that the final decision on both the questions will be taken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

On chances of Fadnavis being called to centre, he said, “He has capabilities to perform well at the centre level. His requirement, however, is in the state right now to resolve the existing issues”.

On the speculations of him being made the new Railway Minister also, he stated that the final decision will be taken by Modi. He informed that he has heard in media that he may be handed over the charges but, has not received any official statement, as of now. He was in town for the celebration of Ganesh Chaurthi.
