Nagpur News: The air is simply flowing in favour of BJP’s rising new star Devendra Fadnavis, who appears set for landslide victory on the eve of counting of votes for Vidhan Sabha elections, which falls on Sunday. The special case of 44 year old ‘Mr Clean’ has taken everyone by surprise as he is being already projected as next Chief Minister of Maharashtra. Though there is no official word in this regard till now, insiders claim that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has already made his voice clear to BJP chief and his close aide Amit Shah that he would prefer Fadnavis to lead Maharashtra as CM, if their party is voted to power.
Whatever may be the ultimate decision, Fadnavis has already stolen his share of limelight with his bright credentials to match the top post.

Controversy free personality
Fadnavis, as a personality, has gained much popularity not only in his constituency (south west Nagpur) but all over the state. His willingness to work for as long as 15 hours a day and his smart ways to remain far from controversies make him score over his counterparts. However, much more than these traits to his personality is his down to earth and simple approach towards the people he meet and the way he treats himself as well.
Simplistic approach
With a high degree of appeal among young people of State, Fadnavis rules the roost with his simplistic approach towards his routine, which made him rise above the rest. For instance, Fadnavis never takes any security whenever he is in public domain. He has been often spotted standing in long queues at airport, waiting for his turn to come. With no security personal or any help by his side, Fadnavis prefers carrying his luggage on his own. He is not spoilt for choices either whenever he is in Mumbai. He chooses to stay in MLA hostel rather than checking in to some starred and luxury property. He has this habit of folding his clothes on his own which only indicates his simplistic approach towards smaller things in his life.
Active legislator
Known to be a regular at all the assembly sessions, MLA Fadnavis is said to have attended all the sessions on all the days, scoring full 100 per cent attendance in assembly. During the assembly proceedings Fadnavis has to his credit many crucial questions that became the high talking point across the state.
Raised critical issues
As an Opposition MLA, he has been actively highlighted the findings of Chitale Committee Report which unearthed Rs 70,000 crore irrigation scam in the state during the previous government regime. He has also been vocal in exposing another major scam of Congress-NCP led democratic front – Adarsh Housing Scam, which led to the state wide protests. He has been actively taking up the CAG report too.
Adding credentials towards his portfolio of public welfare, he has pushed for the OBC scholarship and nazul laws.
Young appeal
Besides, Fadnavis has the bright art of connecting to young and going youth of today with 15,000 young people on his whatsapp groups. He has also been active in projecting himself on social media platforms.
With such a set of traits we are sure Fadnavis would merit for one of the efficient and worthy CMs of the state in the making.
