Hadas celebrates Republic Day (9)Nagpur: 67th Republic Day was celebrated with enthusiasm and patriotic fevour at Liberal Education Society’s Hadas Schools and Junior College, Ramdaspeth, Nagpur. Chief Guest Brigadier Vijay Kumar, Commandant, Institute of Military Law, Kamptee was received by Dr AP Joshi, Secretary, Liberal Education Society. Celebrations began with hoisting of the Tri-colour by Brigadier Vijay Kumar. An impressive march past by NCC Cadets of the institution was followed by colourful cultural programmes by students of Hadas English Medium, Hadas CBSE School and Hadas High School & Junior College.

Principals Kalpana Khobragade, Jyoti Bendre and Dr Prajakta Shukla, parents and staff were seen cheering the students for their spirited performance as patriotic feelings soared during the programme. A hand written school magazine compiled by students and school report ‘Pragati’ were released on the occasion. Kalpana Khobragade, Renu Gaikwad and Kavita Bhoyar were felicitated by the Chief Guest for their exemplary contribution to education.

Hadas celebrates Republic Day (8)While greeting the gathering on the august occasion, Brigadier Vijay Kumar expressed happiness at the zeal, spontaneity and energy displayed by children. Praising their performance he remarked that there was visible potential in all students of the school to make it to the Indian Army and urged them to join Armed Forces. He stressed that life in Armed Forces is not only a good career and service to the nation, but an excellent way of life.

Kalpana Khobragade thanked the Chief Guest and all present. The programme was compered by Maithili Gijre with aplomb. All teachers and staff put in fine efforts to make the event a grand success.
