Nagpur: In his fiery speech during the recently held Executive meeting of BJP, the party President Amit Shah seems to have given a dressing down to party MLAs, MPs and other leaders from Maharashtra over one issue or another.
According to ABP Majha TV channel that claims to have tape of Shah’s speech in their possession, the BJP President has even said that whenever the history of International Yoga Day would be written names of BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi should find mention and not that of Baba Ramdev or Sri Sri Ravishankar.
Shah seems to have gone furious over the way BJP leaders celebrated the Yoga Day in lacklustre manner and did not take the event seriously. Due to haphazard planning, only Baba Ramdev and Sri Sri Ravishankar were being credited for the mega event. And this did not go down well with Amit Shah, according to the TV channel.
The channel further says that Congress went gaga over Mahatma Gandhi and Nehru. To counter the Congress, BJP brought schemes in the name of Deendayal Upadhyay in a befitting answer to Congress. But the BJP leaders were themselves found “unenthusiastic” in this arena. This also caused Shah to lose his ‘cool.’
What Amit Shah said?

“Birth anniversary programmes of Deendayal Upadhyay did not properly reach to the people. If his soul is watching this apathy then he could be feeling repentant.”
However, during his blistering speech, Shah used harsh words in pulling the party leaders from Maharashtra. He came down heavily on State President Raosaheb Danve and other leaders over reports on party office, new leadership, state executive and other contentious issues, the TV channel said.

Amit Shah said, “Piyushbhai desires to send money for erecting party offices but nobody is ready to accept it.”

“No names of party leaders from state were given for defending party in media. Since past five years, names were being demanded in the executive meetings but nobody listened.”

“Party had given a target that 1 lakh people should download Narendra Modi App but not even beginning has been made.”

“It was decided that there should be only one account for party fund but the state executive has still now followed the order.”
Modi-Shah worried?
According to the ABP Majha, the image of BJP is taking a severe beating due to demonetisation and GST. Negative publicity is being made in social media. To add to the discomfort of Modi and Shah, the Margasarshak Mandal of the party is “tearing them apart” over economy and other issues. Hence Modi and Shah are a worried lot.
