Empowering Tomorrow’s Entrepreneurs: DMIHER and Lemon Ideas Launch Start-Up Ecosystem Initiative in Wardha

Wardha – In an exciting new venture, DMIHER and Lemon Ideas have joined forces to create a thriving start-up ecosystem within the Wardha campus. This initiative aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to become the entrepreneurs of tomorrow. Recognizing the potential in their students’ innovative ideas, DMIHER has collaborated with Lemon Ideas, a company with over 11 years of experience in the field, to guide and mentor these young visionaries on their entrepreneurial journey.

One of the key components of this initiative is the “Startup Yatra,” held today, which is designed to introduce students to the world of entrepreneurship and startups. This event marks a significant step towards empowering students, providing them with the tools and inspiration needed to transform their ideas into successful businesses.
The Startup Yatra, organized by the Student Development Cell (SPDC) in collaboration with Lemon Ideas, featured a comprehensive program aimed at motivating students and giving them a deep dive into the startup ecosystem. Dr. Rajiv Borle Director General, and Hon. Mrs. Manisha Meghe, Director, SPDC congratulated all.

The complete session was designed and curated by Mr. Deepak Menaria, CEO Lemon Ideas and was delivered Mr. Mukesh Ashar, Director Lemon School of Entrepreneurship who spoke about the ABCD of Entrepreneurship. The special attraction to the program was the startup story by Dr. Ishit karoli- founder of Dentist on Wheels which was coordinated by Lt Col Saurabh Shah, Retd. VP- Partnerships Lemon Ideas and Mr. Ashwin Korde Lead Coordinator at Lemon Ideas. A post-event survey conducted got a Happiness Index of 96% from the participating students. The Startup Yatra was attend by around 200 students and around 180 students signed up for the Student club for entrepreneurship .

Dr. Manoj Chandak expressed his enthusiasm about the event, stating, “Our goal is to ignite the entrepreneurial spirit within our students and provide them with the necessary guidance to navigate the startup world. With Lemon Ideas’ expertise, we are confident that our students will gain invaluable insights and be well-prepared to embark on their entrepreneurial journeys.”

Dr. Vidya lohe highlighted the importance of such initiatives in fostering innovation and self-reliance among students. “This collaboration is a testament to our commitment to nurturing the next generation of entrepreneurs. By providing our students with exposure to real-world startup scenarios and mentorship from industry experts, we are paving the way for their future success,” she said.

Dr. Pawan Bajaj, Dr. Punit Fulzale, Dr. Alka Hande, and Dr. Vikrant Jadhav, along with the Research and Development department, also contributed significantly to the success of the event. Their collective efforts ensured that the program was both informative and inspiring, leaving a lasting impact on the participants.

As the event concluded, the students left with a renewed sense of purpose and excitement, ready to take on the challenges of the entrepreneurial world. With the foundation laid by this initiative, Wardha is poised to become a hub of innovation and startup activity, driven by the passion and determination of its young entrepreneurs.
