Elderly man knocked dead by speeding vehicle in Hingna

Nagpur: In yet another hit-and-run accident, an elderly man was knocked dead by a speeding vehicle in Hingna jurisdiction on Thursday evening. The deceased, aged around 60, has not been identified yet. The elderly man was crossing road near Ghuti Shivar on Nagpur-Butibori Road at about 5 pm on Thursday. At the same time, a recklessly driven vehicle rammed the man and sped away. The critically injured man died on the spot.

Hingna Police Constable Ashok has registered a case under Sections 279, 304(A) of the IPC against the unidentified driver of the killer vehicle and searching for him.
