Efforts of ladies of Inner Wheel Club (Nagpur East) alleviate conditions of poor with philanthropic activities

Nagpur: In a very fast paced world where people are often selfish and dwell in their own problems, there are some people who are passionate about helping people in need and strive with all their hearts, minds and bodies in their philanthropic activities. The members of the Inner Wheel Club are one such group of people who keep themselves busy undertaking philanthropic activities.

Recently the installation of the New Team of Inner Wheel Club (Nagpur East) was held at a city hotel. The Inner Wheel Club has entered in their 51^st year of social service.

The Installation ceremony began by felicitating the Guest of Honor and Member of Legislative Council Girish Vyas and Chief Guest and District Secretary Inner Wheel Club Gauri Dhond.

During the installation ceremony Jyoti Chhabria was installed as President while Dr Vimla Jain was installed as Secretary, Aruna Pasari as Treasurer, Varsha Panbude as ISO. Purvi Thakar took up the responsibility of Club Correspondent. Executive Members of the new team include Rashmi Kurani, Pratibha Assudani, Leena Rughwani, Preeti Jain, Anamika Modi and Shobha Bhagia.

Past President Anita Jain presented detailed reports of the projects undertaken during the year 2015-16.

Master of ceremony (MoC) Past President Laxmi Mohanta and Nilima Malani added an essence and spark to the function. Past President Nisha Dua related the past history of the Club.

Former District Chairman (PDC) Vijayatai Diwale and Former District Chairman (PDC) Meena Kulkarni, Former President Vandana Sharma, Former President Meera Khullar and Former President Swati Sarda were prominently present on the occassion.

Guest of Honor and Member of Legislative Council (MLC) Girish Vyas gave an assurance for all kinds of help required by the Club. Chief Guest Gauri Dhond encouraged and motivated the new team.

The new team of Inner Wheel Club of Nagpur East is all geared up with the motto of friendship and working in unison to help the under-privileged in the society and has assured to take up projects including Save girl child, public awareness on green environment, adoption of village for betterment etc to newer levels. The club continues its beautiful journey of genuine service.
