Edify School, Nagpur: Edifians remained totally enthralled with a number of sporting events ranging from cricket, football, swimming, kho-kho to many others in the past month.
A number of sport competitions were held with a bash wherein almost all students participated enthusiastically. The competitions were inter- house as well as inter- class. The sports in- charge teachers and physical training in- charges such as Mr Rishabh, Mr Manish, Mr Satish had been working relentlessly for a few months for making the events worth success; under the guidance of the principal of the school, Dr Plex John.
Students of the school expressed their gratitude towards the Principal, for holding such events that not only imparted physical training but also instilled in them spirit for hard work, dedication and desire to achieve excellence. A student said that they get inspired by the way their studies are managed simultaneously while they are so eagerly participating in sports events on the other hand. He said this inspired them for perseverance and taught them maintaining balance of life. For this, they thanked the directors of the school, Mr Inderpreet Singh Tuli and Mrs Mandeep Kaur Tuli for keeping an hour free for hobby activities on daily basis.
The grand finale of the matches and many other vitalizing sport events are planned for students and parents for the upcoming Annual Sports day at the school campus on coming Saturday. Eminent sports persons are expected to be the guests of honour.
