Edify School holds Orientation Classes for parents

Edify school, Nagpur amongst its buoyant and zealous preparations for welcoming its students for the new session of hopes, ambitions and learning; went an edge beyond the preparations by holding an Orientation session for the parents of the pre – primary students on 8 th and 9 th of this month.

The orientation programme began with the heartiest welcome of parents and the guests of honour, the Directors of the school Mrs mandeep Kaur tuli and Mr Inderpreet singh Tuli. The principal, Dr Plex John addressed the gathering. Talking on the significant role of the parents in the education of their children, he said, “Parents have conferred lives on their children, they have the most seldom obligation to educate their children.”

The orientation programme was conducted by Mrs vicky Anand. The new as well as the old parents were made acquainted with the system of school and its atmosphere. Mrs Vicky Anand talked about rules and regulations of the school and also about how they are important in transforming the young ones into competent individuals.

She discussed with the parents, the importance of nutritious food for lunch boxes and how parents can work in cooperation with teachers in order to inculcate healthy habits among children.

Parents were also briefed about the teaching methodologies and innovations brought about by the enthusiastic teachers to keep the form of study, student oriented and also to keep them motivated for learning by play and learn methods, exam and evaluation system of the school, etc. The directors said on the occasion that the parents are their valuable assets as the vision of creating respectable citizens can be materialized only with the coordinated effort of parents and the school. The progaramme was concluded with the vote of thanks by Mrs Jasleen Kaur.
