Edify School Bids Farewell to its Class X Students

Edify school, Nagpur bid adieu to their grade X students organising a fiesta of musical synergies, blessings and exuberance and mouth watering delicacies, on Saturday, 23rd February. Honourable director couple of the school, MrInderpreet SinghTuli and MrsMandeepKaurTuli graced the occasion,as chief guests.Principal, Dr Plex John and Head Mistress, MrsSmita Dev were the guests of honour.

The programme began with the prayer by Principal, Dr Plex John beseeching the almighty to confer on the young students the highest spirit for studying and courage to strain every nerve to prepare well for the exams. While encouraging his students to study for the benefit of themselves and of the society, he said, “Great is the art of beginning, but greater is the art of ending.” He also said it was very difficult to bid a goodbye to his dearly students as they have been the biggest purpose of their lives, but ultimately they would be proceeding to their future and that is exhilarating. Welcome of all students of grade X was done with a mashup of 5 – 6 songs performed by the students of grade IX for their beloved seniors. There were scintillating games planned for the girls and boys. The young girls and boys arrayed in beautiful dresses setting the ramp on fire accompanied by their favourite teachers was an event, unique for Edifians. Allan Benedict and SimranNechwani were awarded the ‘Edify King’ and the ‘Edify Queen’ respectively. All the students were given a token of love by the Directors. Students reminisced their emotions and experiences and thanked their teachers for their relentless guidance while some were dumbstruck by uncontrolled tears. On this occasion the school announced new council of ministers from grade IX.

The galvanizing words of the Director, MrTuli inspired the gathering. He said, “This adieu is for your exams and not for life. Your alma mater will be a maternal home for you forever.” MrsTuli, The Director said,“I hope, wehave given you wings strong and competent enough to make you soar. Fly gloriously and fetch glory to your alma mater and the nation.”MstAadilTuli, PiyushGhodichor and a few students conducted the programme under the guidance of their mentors, Mrs Aruna Metangale and Mr Gaurav Mahule.
