Nagpur: Poor roads and lethargic work of pipe-laying work on busy roads has caused another accident in the city on August 26, 2016.
According to sources, the accident occurred in the morning hours when a lady was taking her daughter to the school on her TVS Scooty bearing RTO Registration No MH-31/ 9364.
The lady swerved her TVS Scooty to avoid a hole dug out to lay pipe-lines on Rana Pratap Nagar Square. However, at that very moment, a truck was passing by and the TVS came under the rear wheels of the truck.
Though the daughter escaped unhurt, the rear tyres went over the leg of the lady.
The lady has been rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Till the time of filing the report, the identity of the injured lady or the condition could not be ascertained.
The cops of Rana Pratap Police Station were still conducting the investigation and completing the formalities.
