Nagpur: Imamwada police have rounded up a 31-year-old man for allegedly hitting his 56-year-old father with liquor bottle, following a drunken brawl in Jattarodi on Friday night.
Immamwada police have booked accused son Amit Kishor Chaudary under section 326, 504 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
According to police, along with his family Kishor was having dinner on Friday night when accused Amit barged into the house in drunk state. During the heated argument Amit reportedly started abusing his father and later accosted him. However, situation turned serious when Amit broke liquor bottle on Kishor’s head and fled from the spot leaving his father soaked in blood.
Subsequently, Kishor who was profusely bleeding was rushed to a hospital.
Following the complaint of Aashish Kishor Chaudary (28), Immamwada police have registered a case against accused Amit and started the probe.
