Nagpur News : Though railways administrations is suffering from manpower crunch but the higher officials give a royal ignorance to the fact and engage a large number of gangmen for their personal benefits. The matter was taken to MP from Gondia-Bhandara Nana Patole, who in turn as promised to conduct a meeting with the President of Railway Board and discuss the issue. He further said that if the matter was not taken seriously then he would launch protest against railway administration.
The sources said that DRM from South-west-Central Railway and Central Railway get bungalows for their stay and similarly other officials get government quarters for their stay. However, the DRMs have engaged more than 30 gangmen to look after their personal work. However, according to the rules, no higher officials could use the government employees for the personal benefits. But, the officials rule the roost and the rules get a royal ignorance.
It must be mentioned that the gangmen who refused to assist the DRM in their personal work would get a threatening of suspension.
Nearby residents met MP Nana Patole and complained about this. They demanded to take action against these railway officials. Patole assured to discuss the issue with Railway Board President in New Delhi and demand action against
