Nagpur: The firebrand leader of Bharatiya Janata Party and Rajya Sabha member Dr Subramanian Swamy on Tuesday visited the Headquarters of RSS and met Sarsanghachalak Mohan Bhagwat. The meeting triggered a round of speculations over the topic of discussion as the BJP leader is touring Gujarat, the home state of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, soon.
Well known for his controversial statements and divergent views, Dr Swamy has been keeping a low profile and restraining himself from issuing any “burning” statements. The Rajya Sabha member slyly left the RSS HQ without talking to waiting media unlike his last visit when he parried many questions from media.
Dr Swamy held parleys with Bhagwat for half an hour. The recent criticism of Gau Rakshaks by Modi and the current political situation in the country could have figured in the talk. After the high profile meeting, Dr Swamy straightaway left for Jamnagar in Gujarat.
