Dr. Mohan Gaikwad, who is contesting the upcoming Lok Sabha elections as a Bahujan Samaj Party candidate from Nagpur region with Elephant as his party symbol inaugurated party office of BSP at Padole Nagar, near KDK College. Southeast Nagpur Office Secretary Mr. Anand Somkuwar, District Secretary Mr. Sanjay Kamble, East Nagpur Incharge Mr. Dhruvkumar Meshram, Corporator Mr. Sagar Lokhande, General Secretary Mr. Amit Somkuwar made their presence felt on the occasion. They congratulated Dr. Gaikwad on the opening of the new office and wished him success in the elections. They expressed confidence that the office will serve as a nodal point, making networking easier.
The inauguration was followed by a scooter rally in East Nagpur. The rally was flagged off with the trademark blue flags by BSP Southeast Nagpur Office Secretary Mr. Anand Somkuwar.
The rally began from Party office at Jagnade Chowk, Nandanwan and covered a vast area including Bhaiyyasaheb Chowk, Kumbhartoli Chowk, Shashtri Nagar Chowk, Hewari Nagar, Vardhaman Nagar, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Chowk, Chhapru Nagar, Lakadganj, Pardi, Bhandewadi, Vathoda, Prajapati Nagar, Vaishnav Devi Chowk, Jaibhim Nagar, Padole Nagar, etc. Along with the eminent personalities present for the inauguration, the rally was also prominently attended by Mr. Manoj Lokhande, Mr. Siddharth Uke, Mr. Purushottam Patil, Mr. Shyamji Chandekar, Mr. Girdhar Telang, Mrs. Laxmi Dange, Vanmala Uke, Bahgat Tai.
Thousands of people participated in the rally. Waving blue flags, the scooterists toured all of East Nagpur and were greeted by cheering public. . The hurrahs and cheers of the supporters acclaims the growing popularity of the young and dynamic emerging Educationist cum Politician Dr. Mohan Gaikwad.
