The active Congress worker Haider Ali Dosani has been appointed as Member of the All India Handloom Board (AIHB) for the third time. The Minister for Textiles S Rao appointed him after considering Dosani’s valuable contribution in the handloom and social field. Dosani’s appointment was recommended by Union Urban Development Minister Kamal Nath, Road and Transport Minister Oscar Fernandes and Minister of State for Human Resource Development Shashi Tharoor.
Dosani has thanked Foreign Minister Salman Khurshid, Nagpur MP Vilas Muttemwar, Maharashtra In Charge Mohan Prakash, AICC General Secretary Mukul Wasnik, Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan, AICC Spokesman Raj Babbar, Meem Afzal, MPCC President Manikrao Thakre for his appointment as the Member of All India Handloom Board. Previously, Dosani was Member of the Board from 2006 to 2010.
