Divyang man found murdered with throat slit near Kamal Square

A 40-year old Divyang (disabled) man was murdered with his throat slit near Kamal Square in Panchpaoli area on Tuesday night. The identity of the murderer and the reason behind the outrageous act has not been ascertained as yet. Cops are questioning some suspects in this connection.

The deceased Krushnarao Hedau was a residing in a rented house in Balabhaupeth. He was reportedly working at a liquor brewery run by a person named Jaiswal near Kamal Square. Krushnarao’s first wife died sometimes back and he was living with second wife named Rekha. On Tuesday, Krushnarao Hedau, handicapped with legs, went to work at the brewery as usual. It is learnt that he too was habituated to liquor. After finishing work, Krushnarao proceeded for home in the night.

However, midway near a scrap shop, unidentified person slit his throat with a sharp-edged weapon and killed him. The identity of the murderer and the motive has could not be known immediately. Body of Krushnarao Hedau, lying in pool of dried blood, was spotted on Wednesday morning. A team of Panchpaoli Police Station, on being informed, reached the spot and sent Krushnarao’s body to Mayo Hospital for post-mortem.

Cops have registered a murder case and launched an in-depth investigation.
