Job Description
1. Improvement of plant safety performance indicators
2. Compliance to all statutory requirements related to Occupational Health and Safety
3. Setting up plant safety organization to institutionalize safety as a line function
4. Carry out plant safety inspections and safety audits to bring to notice the unsafe practices and suggest suitable measures to mitigate them
5. Take up safety promotional activities and training to improve safety awareness amongst the employees and contractors
6. Accident / Near-Miss investigation and preparing reports
7. Generate periodic MIS to appraise management on plant safety performance
8. Prepare annual safety improvement plan for the plant
Desired Profile
Diploma in Industrial Safety is a must along with Engineering background. The candidate should have 15 to 20 years experience in Plant Safety by leading the Safety department & liasioning with Govt. bodies.
