Nagpur: BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis filed his nomination today from the Nagpur South West constituency, with a strong show of support from senior party leaders. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, BJP Maharashtra President Chandrashekhar Bawankule, and prominent leaders like Bunty Kukde were present to back Fadnavis as he filed his papers. Prior to the filing, the BJP held a power-packed rally in Nagpur, signaling its influence in the region.
In a gesture of family support, Fadnavis received blessings at home, where his wife, Amruta Fadnavis, performed a traditional aarti and wished him success. The BJP and its allies are once again rallying for a win in the upcoming elections, with Fadnavis aiming for his sixth term in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly. Support from family and thousands of party workers have strengthened his campaign.

Expressing confidence, Fadnavis said, “With the people’s support and my mother’s blessings, victory is certain. I’ve won every election with a strong margin, and I’m sure this sixth victory will be even greater.”
His rally began at Constitution Square in Nagpur and witnessed an energetic display of party strength, with enthusiastic chants and slogans from supporters. Notably, Naga sadhus from Uttarakhand also came to bless Fadnavis, adding a unique spiritual aspect to his campaign kickoff.
